It seems Microsoft has been listening to the extremely loud feedback to their always-online and used game policy. Don Mattrick
, president of interactive entertainment business for Microsoft and voice of things hilarious
announced that the negative feedback was heard and changes are going to be made. Gone is the 24 hour requirement of being online. Instead, owners of an Xbox One will be able to play games offline.
An equally big change allows those who purchase physical copies of games to trade them in, sell them, or lend them to others.
While there are some who disagree with the move
, no doubt many welcome this news.
What about you? Were you going to buy an Xbox One anyway? Have you turned around and can now embrace the next Microsoft console? Or has the fact that Microsoft more than flirted with the idea turned you away?
